Campus Ministry is an established Ministry at American University (AU) that is open to all Orthodox college students and students interested in learning about Orthodoxy.
Fr. Panayiotis Steele is the current Orthodox Chaplain for AU. Monthly, during the academic year and assisted by the students, Fr. Panayiotis celebrates an Orthodox Vespers service followed with discussion and dinner. Volunteers from Saint Sophia’s Congregation prepare and serve a homemade Greek meal to the students. Campus Ministry is where students of all backgrounds share in faith and fellowship that the Saint Sophia Community has to offer.
